Ingredients
240gnatural/Greek yoghurt
350gself raising flour
200gpassata/pizza sauceor enough to cover the dough
150ggrated cheeseyour favourite, I like to use Mozzarella
1tspdried herbsoptional
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the flour and yoghurt until a dough is formed. If the mixture is too wet and sticky, add in some more flour. If it is too dry, add in a little water. You need to be able to roll out the dough without it sticking or falling about.
On a lightly floured work surface roll out the dough into a rectangle.
Spread the pizza sauce/passata across the dough. You can use your favourite pizza sauce, or just some regular pasta sauce. Be careful it isn't too runny though or it will just run off the dough.
Sprinkle your grated cheese over the tomato sauce and add your favourite toppings.
Carefully roll the pizza over lengthwise until it is in a sausage shape.
Using a sharp knife, or a serrated knife, slice the pizza roll up into even slices.
Carefully place the pizza rolls in the air fryer basket. You might need to use a spatula to transfer them. I used a silicone baking liner but you can use baking paper or brush a little oil on your air fryer basket and add them direct.
Cook at 180°C for about 10 minutes. Check on them at 7 minutes and adjust the cooking time if needed. The pizza rolls are ready when the cheese has melted and the pizza dough has turned a golden colour.
Notes
If you don't want to make your own pizza dough you can use ready made pizza dough instead.
