Ninja Speedi Whole Roast Chicken
Cook a whole chicken in the Ninja Speedi with this simple method. Flavoured with garlic and herbs, the chicken is steamed and air fried in one go, giving you crispy skin and juicy meat in around 40 to 60 minutes.

Ingredients
1
whole chicken
I used 2kg, but smaller will also work
1
tbsp
olive oil
300
ml
liquid
wine, chicken stock, or water
2
cloves
garlic
crushed
Herbs and seasoning of your choice
e.g. rosemary, thyme, paprika, salt, pepper
Instructions
Add the wine, stock, or water to the base of the Ninja Speedi pot. Stir in the crushed garlic and herbs.
Brush the chicken all over with olive oil, then season generously with your chosen herbs and spices.
Place the chicken on the Cook & Crisp tray in the lower position in the pot.
Select Rapid Cooker > Steam Air Fry, set the temperature to 180°C, and cook for 60 minutes. Reduce cooking time for smaller chickens.
Check the chicken is cooked through – the juices should run clear, or use a meat thermometer (75°C in the thickest part).
Allow the chicken to rest for 10–15 minutes before carving and serving.
Notes
Cooking times may be slightly shorter for smaller chickens – start checking after 35 minutes.
Swap herbs to suit your taste – lemon, garlic, paprika, or Mediterranean blends all work well.
