Ingredients
2ripe bananasmedium in size
120gbuttersoftened
100gcaster sugar
200gself-raising flour
2medium eggsbeaten
1tspbaking powder
1tspground cinnamon
Instructions
Mix together the butter and sugar until they are smooth. Then slowly add the beaten eggs and mix until they are combined.
Add the flour, baking powder and ground cinnamon, followed by the mashed bananas.
Stir everything together gently until combined.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking tin and place it in the air fryer at 160°C. Set the timer for 30 minutes.
At the end of the cooking time, the banana bread should be browned on the outside and cooked all the way through. Insert a metal skewer to check it isn't wet or soggy on the inside. If it needs to be cooked for longer, check on it every 5 minutes to ensure it doesn't burn. If the outside is already browned, you might need to cover it in some foil.
