Ingredients
2chicken breastsincrease accordingly
2tbspolive oil
1/2tspsalt
1/2tsppepper
1/2tspgarlic powderor seasoning of your choice
Instructions
1. Preheat the air fryer at 180°C (360°F).
2. Brush or spray each chicken breast with oil.
3. Season one side (the smooth side) of each chicken breast.
4. Place each chicken breast (smooth side down) in the air fryer basket. Season the other side.
5. Set the timer for 20 minutes.
6. After 10 minutes turn the chicken breasts over to allow them to cook on both sides. Depending on the size of the chicken you may only need to cook them for a further 5 minutes - try not to overcook them, chicken breasts in particular can dry out quickly.
7. Check the chicken is cooked all the way through - use a meat thermometer if necessary.
8. Leave the chicken to rest for 5 minutes before serving or slicing.
Notes
Cooking TimesCooking times will vary depending on your air fryer and the size of the chicken breasts. Use the following times as a guide:
150g - 200g: 16 to 18 minutes
200g - 300g: 18 to 20 minutes
Always check the chicken is cooked all the way through (the juices should run clear and there should be no pink bits).
