Ingredients
1.4kgpork ribs
80mlhoisin sauce
1tspChinese 5 spice
2tbspbrown sugar
2tbspsoy sauce
2clovesgarliccrushed
Instructions
Start by mixing together the hoisin sauce, Chinese 5 spice, brown sugar, soy sauce and crushed garlic cloves.
Next, pour the mixed marinade over the pork ribs, ensuring they are all coated. Leave for at least 30 minutes, longer if possible.
Transfer the pork ribs to the air fryer basket – depending on how many pork ribs you are using you may need to cook them in batches. I managed to squeeze all mine in a 6.5L Cosori air fryer and although they were a little snug they all cooked well.
Set the air fryer off at 200°C (400°F) and cook for 20 minutes, turning them over half way through.
At the end of the air fryer cooking time the pork ribs should have an internal temperature of 90°C/190°F and tender all the way through.
