200gof Padrón peppers
1-2tbspof extra virgin olive oil
coarse sea saltto taste
Optional: a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Wash the Padrón peppers thoroughly and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
In a mixing bowl, toss the peppers with the olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Place the oiled Padrón peppers in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Cook the peppers at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The peppers are ready when they are blistered and slightly charred.
Transfer the cooked Padrón peppers to a serving plate. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt to taste. For an extra touch of flavour, you can add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the top.
