Ingredients
400gpizza dough*
400gpizza sauce**
200gMozzarella cheesegrated
Instructions
Roll out or cut the fresh pizza dough to fit the size of your air fryer basket (leave a little room around the edges)
Spread pizza sauce across the pizza dough.
Sprinkle on the cheese.
Add any additional pizza toppings. You might need to sprinkle some more cheese on top of them to secure them down.
Line the air fryer basket with baking paper, or use a silicone liner. Alternatively, you can brush a little olive oil over the basket.
Air fry at 180°C for 8 minutes, checking on it at 6 minutes to ensure it isn't crisping too much.
Notes
* Pizza Dough: I used a 400g box of Pizza Express fresh pizza dough and cut it into four 7 x 5 inch pizza bases. You can make your own pizza dough or buy unrolled pizza dough and roll it to fit the size of your air fryer basket.** Pizza Sauce: I used most of a 400g tin of Mutti pizza sauce. You can buy it in most supermarkets or online at Amazon (in bulk). Alternatively, you can make your own or use a different pizza sauce.Pizza Toppings: you can make a classic cheese and tomato pizza or add some of your favourite toppings. They could include pepperoni, ham, pineapple, chicken, chorizo, and more.
