Bread Maker Brioche Bread (in a Panasonic Bread Maker)
This rich, buttery brioche is made effortlessly in the Panasonic Bread Maker, producing a soft, golden loaf perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat.

60gcold buttercubed into roughly 2cm pieces (first portion)
50gwhite granulated sugar
2tbspskimmed milk powder
4eggs (2 whole eggs + yolks of 2 eggs)
watertop the egg mixture with water to make 270ml liquid
80gcold buttercubed into roughly 2cm pieces (second portion)
Instructions
Add the ingredients in the order listed above, placing the yeast into the bread maker’s yeast dispenser. Leave the second portion of butter aside for now.
Select the brioche program (Menu 10) on your Panasonic bread maker and press start. The cycle takes about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Around 45 minutes in, you’ll hear a beep – that’s your signal to lift the lid, pop in the remaining 80g of cold butter cubes, and press start again. The machine won’t carry on until you do.
When the final beep sounds, carefully remove the bread pan from the machine. Tip the loaf onto a wire rack and let it cool before slicing.

Serving Ideas - enjoy warm with butter, spread with jam or honey, or turn it into indulgent French toast. It’s also delicious with savoury toppings or as an upgrade to your burger buns.Storage - best eaten on the day it’s made, but it will keep in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Slice and freeze for up to 2 months, toasting straight from frozen when needed.
