Notes
Important: I have been told in the past that some people have experienced burning at the bottom of some soup maker models with certain recipes. The common ingredients each time are lentils and passata (or tinned tomatoes). I haven’t had this issue, but I believe it is due to insufficient stock in the soup maker to prevent the ingredients from sticking to the bottom. For this reason, I would suggest you always add a little oil to the base to start with, as well as make sure that there is enough stock, and mix everything before setting it off.
