750mlvegetable stock*or a stock pot/cube with hot water up to the MAX line
1tspdried thymeor dried mixed herbs
Salt and black pepperto taste
Optional: A splash of cream or milk to finish
Instructions
Add the leeks, celery, potato, onion, garlic, and herbs to the soup maker.
Pour in stock up to the MAX line and season lightly.
Select the smooth setting.
Once the cycle finishes, taste and adjust seasoning.
Stir through a splash of cream if you’d like a richer finish.
Notes
*either add a stock pot or cube directly to the soup maker and then top up to the maximum line with hot water, or prepare the stock seperately and pour in (again, up to the maximum line). I have used Bouillon Vegetable Stock powder, for lower salt content switch to a lower or no salt variety.
