1tspground black pepperor other seasoning according to your own tastes
1tbspcream/crème fraicheoptional
Instructions
Add the onion and garlic to the soup maker jug - if you are using a Ninja soup maker you can use the chop function to slice them up.
Optionally sauté the onion and garlic if your soup maker has this function.
Add the chicken - you can add it raw if using the Ninja Soup Maker, but if you are using a Morphy Richards or other soup maker that doesn't advise using uncooked meat, add about 200g cooked chicken that has been sliced or shredded.
Add the potatoes, stock pot or cube and top up to the MAX line with hot boiled water straight from the kettle. Add in any seasoning as required (I like to use 1 tsp of ground black pepper for this soup, but you can use what you prefer).
Place the lid on the soup maker and set off on smooth.
When the soup maker has finished it's cycle serve and add any additional seasoning. Optionally stir in 1 tbsp of cream or crème fraiche if desired.
Notes
*Chicken - only use raw chicken if your soup maker advises this is safe to do. Otherwise, use cooked chicken, sliced or shredded. It's a great way to use up leftovers from a Sunday Roast dinner!
