Ingredients
For The Wraps
4tortilla wraps
240gpack chicken tikka chunks
Lettuce
1sweet pepper
1/2cucumber
4tbspnatural yoghurt
For Homemade Chicken Tikka
2 - 3chicken breastsdepending on size
150mlnatural yoghurt
2tbsptikka masala paste or 1 tbsp powderadd more or less according to taste
Instructions
To Assemble The Wraps
Lay all the ingredients out, with the tortilla wraps laid out flat.
Spread yoghurt – or any other sauce you are using – over the tortilla, followed by the chicken pieces and finally the lettuce and any extras such as pepper, tomatoes and cucumber. Try not to overfill the tortilla wraps.
Fold the tortilla wraps up and enjoy!
To Make Homemade Chicken Tikka
Cut the chicken breast up into small slices or chunks.
Mix the curry powder or paste in with the yoghurt.
Pour the tikka yoghurt over the chicken pieces and leave to marinate for at least 15 minutes, preferably longer if you have the time.
Either fry the chicken pieces or cook them in the oven at 200°C/fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 for 10 to 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Either serve hot in warmed tortillas or leave to cool and store in an airtight container until you are ready to use. They will last for 3 days in the fridge.
