Ingredients
100gplain flour
2tspsmoked paprika
1eggbeaten
300gof halloumi cheesecut into sticks
Sunflower oil for frying
Instructions
Mix the flour and smoked paprika together in a bowl.
Dip the halloumi sticks in the beaten egg before rolling them through the flour. Do this one by one, putting each one to the side.
Heat the sunflower oil up in a deep-sided pan. It will need to be about 2cm in depth. Once the oil is sizzling hot cook the coated halloumi sticks, a few at a time. Take care as you add them to the oil - use tongs to lift them in and out. It should take about 2 minutes to cook each one.
