Ingredients
roughly 250g broccoli florets
50mlboiling water
(Optional)
Salt
Butter/Garlic butter
Instructions
Wash the broccoli and cut into florets.
Place into a deep microwaveable bowl, so that the broccoli doesn't stick out the top.
Pour about 50ml boiling water into the bowl (boiling water will make it cook much quicker).
Cover with a microwaveable plate or other loose-fitting lid (do not use a clip lid).
Cook for 3-4 minutes. Take it out earlier if you want your broccoli less soft.
Drain the water and serve.
Notes
This recipe was made with fresh broccoli. For best results, use fresh broccoli over frozen.This recipe really doesn't depend much on precise measuring. As long as there is a bit of hot water to steam the broccoli, it is much quicker to do it by eye, once you get the feel for it.
