Mushroom Soup In A Soup Maker
Creamy mushroom soup is quick and easy to make in a soup maker. With just a few ingredients you will soon be enjoying a velvety smooth soup :)

Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic crushed
- 350 g mushrooms sliced (see notes)
- 150 g potato chopped
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 800 ml vegetable stock
- 100 ml single cream optional
- salt and pepper according to taste
Instructions
- Optionally saute the onion and garlic.
- Add all the ingredients to the soup maker jug apart from the cream.
- Add water up to the line and stir to combine.
- Set the soup maker off on smooth.
- At the end of the soup maker cycle stir in the cream (if using).
- Season according to taste.
Notes
Mushrooms
I used 350g of mushrooms; you can use more for a thicker soup - you can probably fit up to about 500g of mushrooms in, depending on the size of your soup maker.
