1vegetable stock pot+ water up to the soup maker jug line
Instructions
Peel and chop the onion and garlic. Slice the cabbage, carrots, and celery, or use a food processor to chop everything quickly into small pieces.
Place all the ingredients into the soup maker jug; onion, garlic, cabbage, carrots, celery, chopped tomatoes, dried mixed herbs, and the vegetable stock pot.
Pour in hot water up to the MAX line on the soup maker. Give everything a good stir to mix it together.
Set the soup maker to the Chunky programme. The soup maker will cook and blend the soup until everything is tender.
When the programme finishes, check the soup’s texture. If you’d like to change the consistency, use the blend function a few times to chop the ingredients more finely.
Taste the soup and add salt or pepper if needed. Serve hot with crusty bread or a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
