Rice Crispy Cakes
Chocolate rice crispy cakes are a fun recipe to make with the kids, they require very few ingredients yet taste great!

Rice Krispies

Instructions
Break the chocolate up and place it with the butter and golden syrup (if using) in a heatproof bowl.
Either melt in a microwave (take care not to let the chocolate burn), or in a bowl placed over the top of some simmering water (double boiler method).
Once all the chocolate and butter is melted, stir in the rice krispies. Make sure you mix gently, until all the cereal is coated.
Transfer the mix to either cupcake cases or a baking tin. If you are using a baking tin flatten out the mixture so that it reaches the corners.
Transfer to a fridge and leave to set for up to 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is hard.
