Ingredients
1kgboneless chicken thighsskinless
1chicken stock pot/cube
100mlboiling water
1tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
1tspdried mixed herbs
8garlic clovescrushed
50gbutterdiced
2tbspchicken gravy granules or 1 tbsp of cornflour.or thicken to your liking
Salt and pepper according to taste
Instructions
Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and dried herbs over the chicken, followed by the crushed garlic and butter.
Mix the chicken stock with boiling water. Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours.
Once cooked, transfer the chicken to a plate. Mix chicken gravy granules or a cornflour slurry* into the remaining liquid in the slow cooker to make a gravy. * Mix 1 tablespoon cornflour with 1 ½ tablespoons water.
You can either return the chicken to the slow cooker and submerge it into the sauce, or, pour the sauce over the chicken when plated.
