200gjumbo oats
800mlmilk or wateror a combination of both
Saltoptional

Instructions
Mix oats and liquid together, either directly in the slow cooker (grease the bowl first with a little butter or oil), or in a large casserole dish and place that in the slow cooker. If you are using a bowl within the slow cooker bowl, you can add some water around it too.
If you are adding salt, cinnamon or other seasoning, stir this in too.
Cook on low for between 2 and 6 hours. Use a timer or keep warm function if needed.
Stir the porridge before serving with your favourite toppings on top.
