If you’re looking to make a quick lunch using your air fryer try these BBQ chicken wraps. With just a few simple ingredients you can make a tasty lunch, or mix them with some rice for a more substantial meal.
What You Need
The ingredients below are enough to make two wraps. If you want to make more or less you can adjust the quantities accordingly.
- 2 chicken breasts
- 4 tbsp BBQ sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- tortilla wraps
- grated cheese
Making It
Start by slicing the chicken into strips. Then, in a bowl, stir the chicken in with the BBQ sauce, smoked paprika and garlic powder. Leave it to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Add the BBQ chicken to the air fryer, and cook at 200°C for 10 minutes, shaking or stirring half way through.
After 10 minutes, stir the onions and peppers in and air fry for a further 5 minutes.
Lay the tortilla wrap out flat and transfer the chicken to the wrap, adding in any extras like shredded lettuce and grated cheese.
Fold it up like a burrito, securing it so that no bits of food will fall out – I’ve not quite mastered the folding technique bit yet and seem to end up with half of it on my plate 😉
Optionally brush the outside with a little olive oil (or spray it) and return the wraps to the air fryer basket and air fry at 200°C for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until they are crispy and turning a slight golden brown. Alternatively eat it as it is.
