Cajun Garlic Butter Cod Air Fryer Recipe

Fish is perfect for air frying, it’s easy to prepare and cooks in no time at all. This recipe is similar to my regular air fryer cod recipe but this time coated in a yummy Cajun garlic butter.

What You Need

The ingredients below are enough to serve two people, to serve more or less people, adjust the quantities accordingly.

2 cod fillets, melted butter, Cajun spice mix and two cloves of garlic
  • 2 cod fillets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Making It

Prepare The Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the crushed garlic, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Season The Cod

Pat the cod fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. This helps to ensure they get nice and crispy.

Brush the Cajun garlic butter mixture all over the cod fillets, ensuring they are well coated.

Air Fry the Cod

Place the seasoned cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook them in batches.

Cook the cod at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes, turning halfway through the cooking time, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Carefully remove the cod from the air fryer and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
