Cosori Air Fryers – Which One Is Best For You?

Are you thinking about buying an air fryer and wondering what model you should buy?

There are so many different brands on the market, and in turn, so many models to choose from, it can be tricky to know which one is best for your needs.

I’ve tested many different air fryers over the last decade, and Cosori is a brand that I’ve grown to trust. But like other brands they have more than one model to choose from – in fact, at the time of writing, they have 7 air fryers!

So, which Cosori air fryer is best for you?

In this guide, I will explore the different models available in the UK market, I’ll compare their features, capacities, and performances to help you decide which air fryer best suits you and your needs.

I have been personally testing three different Cosori air fryer models; more on them below.

1. Cosori Dual Blaze 6.4L

This is one of the Cosori air fryers I am currently reviewing, so expect a full standalone review of that quite soon!

But in the meantime, here is the lowdown on features and what I think so far.

Before we start, just so you know, although this air fryer has the word ‘dual’ in the name, it doesn’t have two drawers. The dual refers to dual heating technology, but more on that below.

This air fryer has a large capacity of 6.4 litres, which can fit up to 2.7 kg of food or a whole chicken.

It has 12 functions for different foods, such as air fry, roast, bake, reheat and more. You can also control the air fryer via WiFi using your smartphone or voice assistant (such as Alexa or Google Assistant).

But what makes this air fryer oven stand out from other models is its dual heating technology that combines top and bottom heating elements. This technology allows it to cook food faster and more evenly than other models without the need for shaking or preheating. It also has patented automatic temperature controls that adjust the heat according to the food type and quantity.

Although I am still in the middle of testing the Cosori Dual Blaze, I have been impressed by its performance and convenience. It cooks food fast and evenly, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior.

If I had to choose between this model and the Cosori 5.5L (which I am also currently reviewing), I would go for the Dual Blaze.

Not only is it larger in capacity, but I also prefer the basket design. The Cosori 5.5L has a basket that can be released from the drawer rather than fixed. Although it has proved sturdy to date, it doesn’t feel as durable as the Dual Blaze, which is an all-in-one basket (although you can still remove the plate inserts).

Overall, this air fryer oven is a great choice for people who want a smart and versatile appliance that can easily cook various dishes. It is easy to use and clean and has a large capacity and dual heating technology, making it stand out from other models. It is also reasonably priced for its quality and features.

2. Cosori 5.5L

Cosori currently has two 5.5L air fryer models, this one and the next one down in the guide (the Cosori CP158-AF).

This Cosori model comes with WiFi connectivity and a companion app, VeSync, which offers 100 pre-programmed recipes and sends notifications when the food is ready. Although I don’t tend to use smart functions on appliances, I can see how convenient it is for those who want to monitor cooking away from the kitchen or get help with recipe ideas. The app also reminds you to shake the food at certain intervals – a handy feature if you’re not always nearby.

4. Cosori 4.7L

The compact 4.7-litre design comfortably caters to individuals, couples or small families, making it versatile for user needs.

The unique tempered glass display features 7+2 one-touch cooking functions, enabling easy control and a wide variety of cooking options. It’s suitable for a range of foods, from chips and steak to roast chicken and even baked muffins.

Cleaning is easy, thanks to the removable non-stick coated basket that’s dishwasher-friendly. The air fryer comes with a 30-recipe paper cookbook and over 100 in-app recipes, giving you plenty of air fryer inspiration.

On the downside, this model doesn’t come with WiFi connectivity and can’t be linked to the VeSync app. Personally, I don’t see this as a problem; I rarely use the WiFi feature on the air fryers I have with it as a function.

The air fryer basket on the Cosori 4.7L is easy to clean and has a removable insert.

This Cosori model of air fryers is the perfect solution for small kitchens. This model also lets you adjust the temperature as your food cooks.

It can reach a maximum temperature of 230 degrees Celsius for that ultimate crispiness. Its smart shake reminder, which alerts you halfway through cooking time, is a thoughtful touch. This allows you to check on your food’s progress and make any necessary adjustments.

Like other Cosori air fryers, the 4.7L boasts a stylish and modern design, fitting seamlessly into any kitchen design. It’s compact yet large enough to cook sizeable portions. Although it’s not a multi-cooker or suitable for larger families, it does an excellent job for its size and capabilities.

All in all, the COSORI Air Fryer 4.7L is a valuable addition to any kitchen. It offers a blend of efficiency, simplicity, and cooking options.

5. Cosori 3.8L

The grey Cosori Air Fryer Lite 3.8L is an Amazon exclusive (it also comes in white). This air fryer is modern in design and has a stylish charm with its grey exterior, smooth curves, and intuitive design.

Designed with the needs of modern households in mind, this air fryer is perfect for cooking one to three portions, which is ideal for couples, small families or those who live alone.

The Cosori 3.8L has a temperature range of 75-230℃ and the air fryer’s top-positioned control panel makes it easy to view and adjust settings. One-touch food presets simplify your cooking process, taking the guesswork out of meal preparation. Furthermore, the Cosori 3.8L is fully compatible with the VeSync app and Google Assistant, offering smart control for hands-free cooking.

The basket and crisper plate are both dishwasher-safe, and the crisper plate’s silicone corners allow for smooth removal, making clean-up really easy.

Cosori has a large online recipe library. With the VeSync app, you gain access to over 140 original recipes crafted by Cosori chefs. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned home cook, you’re bound to find something for you.

6. Cosori 3.5L

The Cosori 3.5L Air Fryer is a compact size, stylishly designed in a choice of three colours – red, white, or black.

Despite its relatively small 3.5L capacity, it caters perfectly for small families or couples, offering the convenience of quick, healthy meals without the hassle of a large appliance. It’s quite powerful with its 1500 watt motor, cooking a range of foods efficiently and evenly, thanks to its broad temperature range of 75°C – 205°C.

The appliance has 13 pre-set functions including options for chicken, chips, frozen foods, steak, seafood, veggies, and bacon. The added preheat and keep-warm functions underline its user-friendly focus, providing convenience at your fingertips.

With a time range of 1 – 60 minutes and an automatic shutoff feature, you can set it and forget it, confident that your meals will be perfectly cooked and safe. The unique shake reminder is another thoughtful feature, ensuring that your food is evenly cooked every time.

Maintenance of the Cosori Air Fryer is easy. The appliance is made from aluminium and plastic materials, and the dishwasher-safe basket simplifies clean-up.

Weighing in at 4.5 kg, it’s easily portable and perfect for small kitchens or for those who value countertop space. Additionally, it comes with a recipe booklet of 100 recipes, catering to a broad range of tastes and dietary preferences.

7. Cosori 2L

Designed for singles and smaller households the Cosori 2L air fryer is perfect for cooking for one, preparing a side dish, or preparing starters.

The conveniently small footprint ensures that it takes up minimal counter space, and its portable design means it’s as easy to store as it is to take on the go.

The LED touch panel offers four pre-set cooking functions – Air Fry, Roast, Bake, and Reheat, taking the guesswork out of cooking. The ability to customise and save your favourite settings is a particularly thoughtful touch.

The Cosori 2L air fryer operates at a noise level of less than 48dB. That’s lower than the average conversation volume, allowing you to go ahead and let your Cosori cook while you work or unwind.

Ease of cleaning is key in any kitchen appliance, and the Cosori 2L does not disappoint. The nonstick, dishwasher-safe accessories are not only BPA-free but are also quick and easy to clean. The inclusion of a crisper plate rather than a traditional double basket further simplifies the cleanup process.

Safety features such as automatic shutoff when the basket is removed or overheating occurs are invaluable additions.

Powered by 900W and has a temperature range of 75°–205°C, this air fryer can cook a range of air fryer recipes.

The included VeSync app includes 30 original recipes designed specifically for Cosori air fryers. The 2L Cosori is light, compact, and incredibly efficient.

Final Thoughts On Cosori Air Fryers

Although Cosori is not a UK air fryer brand they are a reliable name that have been producing air fryers for a number of years.

All of their models are available to buy on Amazon meaning that ordering, delivery and returns are simple and convenient.
