How To Make It
Start by seasoning the chicken on both sides with the salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Place the chicken in a bowl or shallow dish and pour over about three quarters of the teriyaki sauce, turning the chicken so it is coated. Leave it to marinate for 20 to 30 minutes. If you have more time you can leave it longer, but even a short marinade adds plenty of flavour.

Place the chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 18 to 20 minutes at 180°C, turning the chicken halfway through the cooking time. When you flip the chicken over, brush the remaining teriyaki sauce over the other side.
Check the chicken is cooked through before serving. The internal temperature should reach 75°C, or the juices should run clear when cut into. Serve immediately with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
