Egg bites are the perfect breakfast recipe or snack – and they are quick and convenient to cook in an air fryer!
Enjoy them plain or add some extras like cooked bacon, ham, cheese, peppers or onions to vary up the flavours.
What You Need To Make Egg Bites In An Air Fryer
There are only a few simple ingredients needed to make air fryer eggs bites.
For the exact ingredients, instructions and to print out the recipe, head to the card at the bottom of this post.
The key ingredients are eggs, a small bit of milk and a little salt and pepper.
The optional extras are cheese and cooked bacon or ham bits. You could also add some finely chopped peppers or onions.
I cooked them in a silicone baking tray that I bought directly from Ninja Kitchen. I ended up cooking them in a Cosori air fryer, but they can be cooked in any air fryer that your baking tray fits into.
You could also use individual silicone or metal tins.
Cooking The Egg Bites
Preparing egg bites for the air fryer is simple.
Start by whisking the eggs, milk and seasoning together.

Pour the whisked egg mixture directly into the silicone moulds. There is no need to grease the slicone baking moulds, if you are using a metal tin you may want to spread a little oil or butter over them.
If you are adding cooked bacon or ham, add a few bits to each one. If you are also adding chopped peppers or onions, you can also add them now. You can push the ingredients down but they will probably sink into the egg mixture.
Sprinkle the grated cheese over the top of each egg bite.
Air fry at 180°C/360°F for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the egg mixture has completely set and the cheese has turned a golden brown.
Carefully remove the silicone tray from the air fryer – use oven gloves – and leave to stand for a few minutes before removing the egg bites, they should easily slip out.
How Long Do Air Fryer Egg Bites Last?
Egg bites can be stored in the fridge for three to five days or frozen for two months.
